We encourage you to check your tyre condition and pressures regularly. The law says it is your responsibility to make sure your tyres meet the legal requirements, which is 1.6mm across the central ¾ of the circumference of the whole tyre. Anything less than this could cost you penalty points on your licence and a fine of up to £2,500.00 per tyre.

It is also advisable to look for cuts, cracks and bulges or any other evidence of damage from violent impact or kerbing. Damaged tyres may be illegal and can be dangerous.
